Noor Community is a community rooted in Palestinian priorities and needs that brings together Palestinians and people from around the world to provide English language classes and mentoring to Palestinian adults.
We aim to support students in ways that are informed by their context and need. To achieve this, we regularly seek feedback and ideas from all community members — students, teachers, mentors and staff — and prioritise their agency and perspective.

We offer the following support to our community of Palestinian young adults:
Small-group classes focused on the learning needs and goals of the individual student, which may include proficiency exam preparation, academic English and skills, English for work or general English.
One-to-one support for university and scholarship applications, academic planning, job hunting and professional skills, and other life skills.
Low-stakes, relaxed opportunities to practise speaking in English, discuss topics of common interest, and to meet fellow students and mentees.
Sessions led by experts on topics and skills of interest.
Our community is made up of Palestinian adults based in Gaza, the West Bank and outside Palestine.
In order to maintain quality, security and sustainability, we do not have an open student recruitment policy. New students join through referrals from existing long-term community members — students or staff — or through our partner institution, Al Manar Society.
